FORTEC group develop and manufactures customised monitor and panel PC solutions for a wide range of market-specific applications.

Our current product portfolio includes monitors from 7" to 85.6" (17.78 to 217.43cm) screen diagonal with a variety of integrated controllers, from video cards to to Raspberry Pi based IoT solutions and PCs of different performance levels. All devices are also suitable for integration and can be supplemented with accessories such as touch, protective glass or mounting frame.

Your solution with matching accessories

In addition to the accessories and options available with our standard products, we also design special monitor solutions tailored to your needs. From size and construction to control and special glasses and touches, we manufacture monitors completely according to your wishes. Besides, we can implement other special features optionally included in the scope of delivery or directly integrated into your monitor: these include, for example, cameras, microphones and speakers, but also RFID writing and reading devices as well as bar or QR code scanners. We also integrate brightness, presence and temperature sensors on request.

Repairability and durability

On 1 March 2021, the new EU Eco-design Directive came into force, which stipulates a Europe-wide environmentally friendly design of "energy-related products".

The Distec monitor series are already well prepared for this and already offer long-term availability of spare parts as well as a good repair service. Distec manufactures in Germany and attaches great importance to the ecological compatibility of the products and the materials used in production.

What is an IQ Monitor? What is a Panel PC?

Monitors with an integrated PC are known as panel PCs, and FORTEC markets its panel PCs under the IQ brand. FORTEC IQ monitors are available in various models and performance levels, for example with Intel® Atom, Celeron or i5 processors. These devices combine a display and a processing unit in a single housing and are suitable for applications in which the monitor also functions as a control or operating unit.

What is a PME Monitor? What is a P4K Monitor?

PME and P4K stand for PrismaMEDIA-Eco and Prisma4K. Both are FORTEC video controllers developed in-house, which we also integrate into our monitors. These monitor models offer numerous video inputs, such as HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort. An external source, such as a media player or PC, is essential in order to display content. PME or P4K monitors serve as standard industrial or information displays.

What is a WebPoster Monitor?

WebPosters monitors are displays with a built-in website player. These devices are designed to display online content. Web pages or web dashboards are retrieved directly from the network and displayed in full-screen mode. WebPoster monitors are particularly well suited to dynamic content that is regularly updated online, such as live data or internal web applications.

What is an IoT-Monitor?

IoT monitors feature an integrated IoT solution based on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module. This enables them not only to display content, but also to form part of a connected system as a whole - for example, for data acquisition, communication with sensors or integration into Industry 4.0 environments. The content is implemented by the customer, which requires IT knowledge.
