FORTEC United Kingdom has introduced a range of 15” and 21.5” Stainless Steel Touch Panel PCs, suitable for hygiene-critical food processing environments.

The Stainless-Steel Panel PCs are built around an IP67-rated enclosure, providing protection against water and dust ingress and enabling reliable operation in washdown environments. The robust stainless-steel housing supports hygiene-critical applications, ensuring resistance to moisture, cleaning chemicals, and frequent sanitation processes.

At the core of the system is an 11th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 processor, delivering the performance required for machine control, SCADA systems, and real-time data processing. This integrated computing capability allows the panel PCs to function as both a control interface and processing platform within modern, data-driven production environments.

The projected capacitive (PCAP) multi-touch interface provides responsive and intuitive interaction, with the ability to support operation in real-world conditions, including use with gloves and in wet environments. This ensures consistent usability across fast-paced food production settings.

Display performance is supported by wide viewing angles of 89° in all directions and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, ensuring clear and reliable visibility of process data from multiple positions. The fanless industrial design further enhances reliability by reducing maintenance requirements and preventing the ingress of dust and moisture.

Designed for demanding environments, the systems operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +45°C, with a storage range of -20°C to +60°C, ensuring durability during both operation and transport.

Display options

The range is available in two display sizes, enabling flexibility across different applications within the production line.

The 15” Stainless Steel Touch Panel PC, with a resolution of 1024 × 768, provides a compact and efficient solution for machine-level control and local operator interfaces where space is limited.

The 21.5” Stainless Steel Touch Panel PC offers a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080, making it well suited to operator interfaces, SCADA visualisation, and line-level monitoring where a larger display area supports enhanced data visibility.
